BROD­ER­ICK, Ray­mond H. ‘Ray’ — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal on Mon­day, Jan­uary 6, 2014, Ray­mond H. ‘Ray’ Brod­er­ick of Fresh­wa­ter, Car­bon­ear, age 69 years. Pre­de­ceased by fa­ther: Charles; sis­ters: Donna and Vi­ola; brothers: Alvin and Stan­ley. Leav­ing to mourn, wife: Emily; one daugh­ter: Denise (Bob) Snow, Har­bour Grace; one son: Duane (Dorothy), Sioux Look­out, ON; three grand­chil­dren: Robert, Ruth and Charles; mother: Doris, Fresh­wa­ter, Car­bon­ear; mem­bers of the Langer and Stevens Fam­i­lies; also a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel's Fu­neral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. Rev. Karen Thorne con­ducted the Fu­neral ser­vice on Satur­day, Jan­uary 11 from Noel's Me­mo­rial Chapel, Car­bon­ear, In­ter­ment took place in the United Ceme­tery, Fresh­wa­ter, Car­bon­ear. DAVID­SON, Mary M — Passed peace­fully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkin­son Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal, Old Per­li­can on Mon­day, Jan­uary 6, 2014, Mary M. David­son of Job's Cove, age 96 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band Lin­don; son Dou­glas; par­ents Pa­trick and Veron­ica Walsh; brother Wil­liam; sis­ter Dorothy. Left to mourn, one daugh­ter Agnes Godin; spe­cial friends Roy and Carol Hal­l­i­day, Job’s Cove; also a num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at the Sal­va­tion Army Ci­tadel, Lower Is­land Cove. GREE­LEY, Mrs. Char­lotte — of Up­per Is­land Cove, passed away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal, Car­bon­ear on Wed­nes­day, Jan. 1, 2014. Mrs. Gree­ley was 71 years old. She leaves to mourn her lov­ing fam­ily: hus­band John Gree­ley, chil­dren Ray­mond (Carolyn) Gree­ley, Doug (Donna) Gree­ley and Ge­orgina Gree­ley (Craig Ball), grand­daugh­ters: Jes­sica, Laura (Matt) and Me­gan, sis­ter Aleatha ( Jerry) Bow­er­ing, In-laws: Betty Collins, Drucela Gree­ley and Lil­lian Gree­ley, and a large cir­cle of fam­ily and friends. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents Wil­liam and Bertha Collins, twin sis­ter Lil­lian Collins, sis­ter Myra (Sid) Coombs, brother Ray­mond Collins, grand­daugh­ter Emily Char­lotte Dow­den, brothers-in-Law: Har­vey Gree­ley and Ge­orge Gree­ley. The fu­neral ser­vice took place at St. Peter's Angli­can Church and Ceme­tery, Up­per Is­land Cove, on Sun­day, Jan. 5, 2014, 2 p.m. The fam­ily re­ceived rel­a­tives and friends at Slade's Fu­neral Home, Cranes Road, Up­per Is­land Cove.
