Drug bust in Til­ton

A drug-re­lated crime in the com­mu­nity of Til­ton in Spa­niard’s Bay has led to the ar­rest of 24-year-old Adam Gosse and 22-year-old Sarah Lynn Gre­nier.

Trin­ity Con­cep­tion RCMP con­firmed Feb. 6, the two ac­cused were ar­rested on Feb. 5 with the as­sis­tance of the Royal New­found­land Con­stab­u­lary Po­lice Dog Ser­vices af­ter a search war­rant was ex­e­cuted for a res­i­dence in the town.

Dur­ing the search, of­fi­cers seized 130 grams of co­caine, 54 grams of cannabis, 43 Oxy­codone pills and over $40,000 in re­cre­ational ve­hi­cles, which will be seized as part of Pro­ceeds of Crime.

Gosse is fac­ing two charges of pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing sep­a­rate sub­stances, and one charge of pos­sess­ing a con­trolled sub­stance. while Gre­nier was held on an out­stand­ing war­rant of ar­rest, fail­ure to ap­pear from the RNC.

Both ap­peared in court Feb. 6 to an­swer to the charges.

RCMP and the RNC ask any­one who is sus­pi­cious of drug ac­tiv­ity tak­ing place in their com­mu­nity to con­tact any lo­cal po­lice de­tach­ment.
