DEAN, Calvin R. (1964-2014) Mr. Calvin Dean age 50 years a res­i­dent of Vic­to­ria, New­found­land passed away at Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hospi­tal with fam­ily by his side on Tues­day April 1, 2014. Dur­ing Calvin’s younger years he resided in Thun­der Bay, On­tario. Dur­ing which he at­tended high school and ex­tended his ed­u­ca­tion into the fields of art and gui­tar where he ex­pressed many tal­ents, beau­ti­ful paint­ings and singing his fa­vorite Elvis Pres­ley songs with fam­ily and many friends. In 1991 Calvin con­tin­ued his ad­ven­ture re­turn­ing to his home town Vic­to­ria amongst fam­ily and friends tak­ing his best friend Butch with him, where he resided un­til the Lord called him home. Calvin was a lov­ing car­ing in­di­vid­ual who loved his pet dog Butch. Calvin spent many days walk­ing his buddy Butch in Thun­der Bay and New­found­land. Pre­de­ceased by his lov­ing mother Ju­lia Pearl Dean, his nephew Gre­gory Dean, Leav­ing to mourn fa­ther Lionel (Ruth) Dean, brother Terry (Iris), sis­ter Beverly (Lawrence) McQueen, sis­ter Betty (Clau­dio) Franceschetti of Thun­der Bay On­tario. Sis­ter Donna (Al­lan) Smith, brother Sam (Bon­nie) Dean, brother Lionel (Gayle) Dean of New­found­land. Sis­ter Jackie (Dan) Bald­win of On­tario as well as nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews and many other rel­a­tives and friends. Calvin is rest­ing at Noels Fu­neral home Wa­ter street Car­bon­ear New­found­land. Fu­neral Ser­vice to take place Fri­day April 4th 2014. At 2 p.m Noels Me­mo­rial Chapel. Cre­ma­tion to Fol­low. Inurn­ment at a later date at Moun­tain­view Ceme­tery Thun­der Bay On­tario. In lieu of flow­ers do­na­tions in mem­ory of Calvin can be made to the Calvin Robert Dean Me­mo­rial Fund.

Left to mourn, fa­ther: Lionel (Ruth), Thun­der Bay, ON; three broth­ers: Lionel (Gayle) and Sa­muel (Bon­nie), both of Car­bon­ear and Terry (Iris), Thun­der Bay, ON; four sis­ters: Donna (Al­lan) Smith, Vic­to­ria, Jackie (Dan) Bald­win, On­tario, Bev­er­ley (Lawrence) McQueen and Betty (Clau­dio) Fransechetti, both of Thun­der Bay, ON; also a num­ber of nieces, neph­ews and other rel­a­tives and friends. MUR­PHY, Theresa Marie — Passed peace­fully away at the Car­bon­ear Gen­eral Hospi­tal on Sun­day, March 30, 2014, Theresa Marie Mur­phy of Job’s Cove, age 60 years. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents: Robert and Cather­ine Mur­phy; sis­ter-in-law: Mary Mur­phy; un­cles: John Fran­cis Mur­phy, Arthur Mur­phy and Joseph Mur­phy. OLIVER, Theresa M. De­laney (nee Gib­bons) — Passed peace­fully away at the In­ter­faith Cit­i­zen’s Home, Car­bon­ear on Tues­day, April 1, 2014, Theresa M. De­laney Oliver (nee Gib­bons) of Gull Is­land, age 83 years. Pre­de­ceased by first hus­band: Ed­ward De­laney Sr., two in­fant chil­dren, grand­son: Ray Au­got, great-grand­son: Bowen O’Leary, par­ents: Patrick and El­iz­a­beth Gib­bons, sis­ters: Mary, Ethel, Made­line, Anne, Nel­lie and Genevieve, broth­ers: Solomon and Bernard.
