The Tri Pen Osprey held its home opening weekend against the Western Kings Sept. 27-28 at the Bay Arena in Bay Roberts. Despite failing to pick up a win in the two-game series, the Osprey brought an entertaining brand of hockey to the rink. Both games were displays of big hits, slick passing and some solid goaltending. The Bay Arena saw some 800 people pass through its gates for the two games. The pair of losses dropped the Osprey’s record to .500 at two wins and two losses as of deadline. The Compass was there and captured these images.
