ENGLISH, Wal­ter J. - Passed peace­fully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkin­son Memo­rial Hos­pi­tal, Old Per­li­can on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 12, 2014, Wal­ter J. English of Job’s Cove, age 100 years. Pre­de­ceased by wife: Jo­hanna; par­ents: Tom and Mary; brothers: Den­nis (Made­line) and Leo (Freda); sis­ters: An­nie (Will), Molly (Thomas), Kath­leen and Martha (Jerry). Left to mourn, daugh­ter: Kath­leen, Job’s Cove; three grand­chil­dren: Dan (Sue), Car­leen and Jim (Brenda); seven great-grand­chil­dren: Michael, Amy, Sarah, Mil­lisa, Josh, An­drew and Kenda; seven great-great-grand­chil­dren; sis­ter-in-law: Theresa Murphy, Cor­ner Brook; spe­cial nieces: El­iz­a­beth Dre­gar and Bride English; many other nieces and neph­ews; spe­cial friend and care­giver: Rose Oliver; also a num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Main High­way, Western Bay. Fr. Ce­sar Derit con­ducted the Fu­neral Mass on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 14 at Cor­pus Christi Ro­man Catholic Church, North­ern Bay.
