There were plenty of merry folks both on the sidewalks and among those parading along Water Street and Harvey Street Dec. 6 in Harbour Grace, where the local volunteer fire department held the town’s annual Santa Claus parade.

The weather was bright and sunny, with a slight chill in the air not enough to deter those on hand from enjoying the sights and sounds the parades had to offer.

Little ones looking to spot Santa Claus did not have to wait too long to see the jolly old man in a big red suit. It took approximately three minutes for the parade to pass from beginning to end.
