Resident not impressed with Carbonear recycling service

The Compass - - OPINION -

Why bother with buying blue bags or taking time to recycle? Storing your recyclables for two weeks at a time, bring them to the curb, only to find out that the garbage truck wouldn’t be bothered to take it.

After a month of recycling and still sitting on the curb, you can be assured I will not recycle again.

I called the town and was told somebody would pick the recyclables up at the end of the day. It is now five days (as of Dec. 4), and it’s still not picked up.

The Town of Carbonear can crow until they are blue in the face to recycle. I will never recycle again.
