Bay Arena ball hockey hype
The Bay Roberts ball hockey league running out of the Bay Arena was in full swing last week. With some 200 youngsters from all age groups giving their all, there was plenty of sweat generated and goals scored.
The Bay Arena in Bay Roberts is a buzz with activity these days. Even though the ice hockey season has ended, there is still plenty of ball hockey to be played at the venerable arena. A new league in Bay Roberts is underway and is offering plenty of youngsters the chance at a good run in the evenings. The Compass took in the activity last week and took these pictures.
