Bay Arena ball hockey hype

The Bay Roberts ball hockey league run­ning out of the Bay Arena was in full swing last week. With some 200 young­sters from all age groups giv­ing their all, there was plenty of sweat gen­er­ated and goals scored.

The Bay Arena in Bay Roberts is a buzz with ac­tiv­ity th­ese days. Even though the ice hockey sea­son has ended, there is still plenty of ball hockey to be played at the ven­er­a­ble arena. A new league in Bay Roberts is un­der­way and is of­fer­ing plenty of young­sters the chance at a good run in the evenings. The Compass took in the ac­tiv­ity last week and took th­ese pic­tures.
