Guilty pleas in Trinity Bay child porn case
A Trinity Bay man has pleaded guilty to all three charges he’s facing in connection to videos and photos of an underage girl.
The man, who is in his 30s and cannot be identified, will be back in court Sept. 9 for sentencing. The guilty pleas were entered last Wednesday at Harbour Grace provincial court.
Police arrested the man in May after executing a search warrant. That search uncovered a memory card containing incriminating videos and photos. He pleaded guilty to three counts of possessing child pornography.
The publication ban was put in place to protect the identity of the victim. The man is not in custody.
