Spaniard’s Bay looks to fill empty rooms
The Town of Spaniard’s Bay moved into the old school board office earlier this year, and there’s still plenty of empty space to occupy inside. The same goes for its former town hall.
Now the town is looking to fill those vacant rooms.
It’s seeking expressions of interest to provide property management and leasing services for both sites.
The new town hall has approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial space available to use spread out over two floors.
As for its predecessors, the old two-storey town hall has 2,000 square feet of office space.
The town will accept proposals until Nov. 20 at 3 p.m.
Spaniard’s Bay purchased the old school board building in the fall of 2014 for $225,000. It was left vacant for a year prior to being purchased by the town.
