Lots of love in Heart’s De­sire’s Christ­mas pa­rade

As rain poured over them, their smiles re­mained in­tact and their hands kept wav­ing while they moved through the small Trin­ity Bay com­mu­nity.

Just over half-a-dozen floats took part in the Heart’s De­sire pa­rade that fea­tured Snoopy, a Snow Queen and, of course, Santa Claus. Af­ter­wards, awards were given out to the first, sec­ond and third place floats. A Heart’s De­sire Christ­mas fin­ished on top, while Duck the Halls and the Gin­ger­bread House rounded out the top-3.

The Com­pass was there and cap­tured th­ese im­ages.

Keara Jackson took point on this Duck the Halls float.

Santa Claus rounded out the floats for the pa­rade.

The Heart’s De­sire Santa Claus pa­rade moves through the com­mu­nity.

Brook­lyn St. Ge­orge was this year’s Snow Queen of the Heart’s De­sire Santa Claus pa­rade.
