SNOOKS, Muriel Beatrice - Passed peace­fully away at the Cor­ner Brook Long Term Care Home on Fri­day, June 10, 2016, Muriel Beatrice Snooks of Vic­to­ria, age 87 years. Pre­de­ceased by hus­band: Percy; son: Herb; par­ents: Her­bert and Mary; adop­tive par­ents: Frank and Win­nie Ash, Ge­orge and Mil­lie Hol­loway; sis­ters: Susie, Mil­dred, Emily and Dora; adopted brother: Wil­liam. Left to mourn, son: Fred (Fhemmy), Chilliwack, BC; daugh­ter-in-law: Carolann, Cor­ner Brook; five grand­chil­dren: Ch­eryl (Jamie), Grant, Robert (Cas­san­dra), Brian (Amanda) and Bradley (Danielle); five great-grand­chil­dren: Lau­ren, Mitchel, Car­son, Calvin, and Nel­lie; two broth­ers: Her­bert Clarke, Glace Bay, NS and Lloyd Clarke, Toronto, ON; adopted sis­ter: Win­nie and adopted broth­ers: Paul, Wal­ter and John; also a large num­ber of other rel­a­tives and friends. Rested at Noel’s Fu­neral Home, Wa­ter Street, Car­bon­ear. Rev. Karen Thorne con­ducted the fu­neral ser­vice on Tues­day, June 14 at the United Church and Ceme­tery, Vic­to­ria.
