Democrats demonize Trump to draw attention away from themselves

The Compass - - EDITORIAL -

I’m here chuckling, maybe a bit sarcastically, Lord forgive me for that. But I’ve just read in your letters to the editor a letter from Celeste Loughrey from Ajax, Ont.

I’ve just returned from five weeks in the U.S.A. in Florida. Oh my, spare me from those people who only know parts of the story and have none of the facts. Opinions are a dime a dozen. But like a philosopher said one time, you can’t change the facts.

Regarding her letter on the presidential debates in the U.S.A. After so long in the U.S.A. living there and visiting now, listening and learning and discerning, I’m gathering more facts to be able to form an opinion of worth.

Hilary Clinton is responsible for the deaths of many people, including their own ambassador in Benghazi. In her position as secretary of state, she ignored approximately 600 calls for help that was sent to her. Plus, the security tapes, around 33,000 that she made and had erased, what of all this fact finding information? Does this indicate good examples for a U.S.A. president?

She’s a mature politician and knows the ropes and uses many areas to her advantage, including her husband Bill and the Obamas. Remember when they were into competition in the presidency, she couldn’t even stand to be around them. I don’t see class or loveliness in either Democratic camp, only manipulation and crimes that have been covered up, and making Donald Trump their target to get the attention away from themselves. Great strategy in an underhanded way.

Obama is a class act, as this writer claims, but as I said, not class in a positive way. Ask many, many Americans what they think of his legacy (ObamaCare, etc.) and you’ll be so shocked and surprised at the replies, far from positive.

Ever since I’ve been back home, all I have heard is Trump in a derogatory manner and Hilary on a golden pedestal. Are we Canadians so narrow-minded and opinionated that we evade searching out the truth? God help us, let the whole truth win out. Watch, listen, learn and pray.

I don’t see class or loveliness in either Democratic camp, only manipulation and crimes that have been covered up, and making Donald Trump their target to get the attention away from themselves.
