Christmas spirit shines down on Placentia
The Santa Claus Parade in Placentia — a partnership be- tween the town and the Dunville Lions Club — went ahead on Dec. 4 after a one-day delay.
The 10th annual edition of the parade lined up at the Col- lege of the North Atlantic and circled the community, stopping at the town hall.
The best entries were acknowledged there, hot choco- late was served and Santa distributed gifts to children in the Arts Centre.
Leading entries were Matt’s Auto (commercial), Placen- tia Special Olympics (walking group) and Placentia Lions Club (volunteers).
