The Bay Roberts Cultural Foundation’s Chase the Ace is held every Monday evening at the Bay Roberts Legion beginning at 7 p.m. Ticket sales end at 8:45 and the draw takes place at 9 p.m. This week’s escalating jackpot is estimated to be at $11,000. There is a 50/50 draw at the end of the evening. Come along, bring a friend and enjoy some local entertainment while testing your luck!
New Hope Al-ANON
The New Hope AL-ANON group meets Tuesday 7:30 p.m. at the U-Turn Addictions Centre in Carbonear, located at 46 Powell Drive. A 12-step recovery program for relatives and friends of alcoholics.
The Trinity Conception NARANON Family Group offers a 12step program designed to help relatives and friends of addicts recover from the effects of their addiction.
