The Bay Roberts Cul­tural Foun­da­tion’s Chase the Ace is held ev­ery Mon­day evening at the Bay Roberts Le­gion be­gin­ning at 7 p.m. Ticket sales end at 8:45 and the draw takes place at 9 p.m. This week’s es­ca­lat­ing jack­pot is es­ti­mated to be at $11,000. There is a 50/50 draw at the end of the evening. Come along, bring a friend and en­joy some lo­cal en­ter­tain­ment while test­ing your luck!

New Hope Al-ANON

The New Hope AL-ANON group meets Tues­day 7:30 p.m. at the U-Turn Ad­dic­tions Cen­tre in Car­bon­ear, lo­cated at 46 Pow­ell Drive. A 12-step re­cov­ery pro­gram for rel­a­tives and friends of al­co­holics.


The Trin­ity Con­cep­tion NARANON Fam­ily Group of­fers a 12step pro­gram de­signed to help rel­a­tives and friends of ad­dicts re­cover from the ef­fects of their ad­dic­tion.
