We hear it so of­ten - “sup­port lo­cal” - and we try to do that as best we can.

To­day, when I re­turned from shop­ping at a lo­cal su­per­mar­ket, I ex­am­ined closely the name on the pack­age of car­rots we hastily pur­chased. It said “Prod­uct of Dora Farm Is­rael.” Yes, all the way from Is­rael. Holy car­rots? Per­haps. I rest my case. Bill West­cott writes from Bay Roberts
