Nov. 11 Re­mem­brance Day Pa­rade Car­bon­ear

All mem­bers of Branch 23 Car­bon­ear wish­ing to take part in our Re­mem­brance Day Pa­rade are asked to be at our Le­gion by 9:45 a.m. to be bussed to Col­lege of the North At­lantic at 10 a.m. where ev­ery­one will form up and march to the Ceno­taph. For more info call 596-3691.

Nov. 11 Re­mem­brance Day events in Bay Roberts

Re­mem­brance Day Pa­rade at 11 a.m. to re­mem­ber those who gave the ul­ti­mate sac­ri­fice. Soup and sand­wiches to be served at the Le­gion fol­low­ing the pa­rade. All are wel­come to at­tend. The Le­gion will also host a free Re­mem­brance Day mati­nee show at 3 p.m. (mu­sic by Kevin Mercer) and a Re­mem­brance Day Dance at 9:30 p.m. (mu­sic by Bob His­cock, $5).

Nov. 16 & 18 St. Pa­trick’s Par­ish Fall Bazaar

At the Knights of Colum­bus in Car­bon­ear. Hot roast beef din­ners and desserts. Eat in or take out at 5 p.m. Bazaar con­tin­ues on the Sun­day with mer­chan­dise bingo, spins and can­teen ser­vice. Doors open 1 p.m.

Nov. 18 Car­bon­ear Le­gion Re­mem­brance Day ban­quet & dance
