Green’s Harbour, Hopeall spread holiday cheer with Santa Claus parade
With daylight having slipped away shortly before the parade got underway, residents of Green’s Harbour and Hopeall were ready to get started on celebrating the holiday season.
The annual Green’s HarbourHopeall Santa Claus Parade featured lots of bright lights and well decorated floats Saturday, Dec. 2. The parade started in Green’s Harbour before making its way to Hopeall, then came back to the former community where people gathered for a snack.
The Compass parked a vehicle along the main highway and snapped these photos.

The E.J. Cram Home Hardware float had a lot of seasonal characters lined up on its float.
