A Santa cel­e­bra­tion in Spa­niard’s Bay

Spa­niard’s Bay res­i­dents got in the mood for Christ­mas with the an­nual Santa Claus pa­rade. Or­ga­nized by the town’s vol­un­teer fire depart­ment, the mid-af­ter­noon event held Satur­day, Dec. 9, fea­tured lots of brightly coloured floats and well-dressed char­ac­ters.

For those with a sweet tooth, lots of candy was dis­trib­uted to kids dur­ing the pa­rade.

The Com­pass parked near the break­wa­ter along the Con­cep­tion Bay High­way and has these pic­tures to share.

Stu­dents from Holy Redeemer School wave to Santa’s fans.
