A need for positivity
During the past few weeks, my wife and I attended ecumenical Lenten services at the different churches in Harbour Grace.
The services, which were well attended, consisted of prayers, hymns and a homily. The emphasis by all the clergy was on unity and the fact that we are all one, created by God, regardless of what religion we profess to be.
On the final night at St. Paul’s, Rev. Don, on behalf of all the clergy, expressed his gratitude for those in attendance and hoped more of these gatherings will take place.
Amid all the negative things happening in the world, this is something positive which can only lead to more positive things in the future.
