Broken stuff fixed at Repair Cafe

The Daily Courier - - CITY -

Many things that are broken can be made good again on April 29 at the annual Repair Cafe.

Non-functional small appliances, computers and electrical fixtures can be fixed by handy volunteers during the popular event, hosted by the regional district. Torn clothes can even be brought in to be sewed by people good with needle and thread.

Fixers are generally hobbyists who just enjoy helping others, regional district staff say. The event runs April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Okanagan College trades building at 1000 KLO Rd.
