The CNR Wharf in Gellatly Bay was filled with people dressed in evening wear last Sunday afternoon as the Westside-based Spectrum Singers under the direction of Kim Kleineberg gathered to take photographs. The adult choir will be performing at the International Choral Festival in Wenatchee, Wash., in April and are heading to Carnegie Hall in New York in November. Locally, the Spectrum Singers present As Time Goes By May 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Cathedral at 608 Sutherland Ave. in Kelowna. The time-related program begins with music from the 1700s and concludes with a piece from 2016 and includes folk, classic Latin, gospel, swing and light jazz. Tickets cost $20 per adult and $10 per student or child and are available at the UPS Store in West Kelowna, Mosaic Books in Kelowna or any choir member.
