O’Leary giv­ing speech to lo­cal party mem­bers

Con­ser­va­tive lead­er­ship hope­ful Kevin O’Leary will be in Kelowna on Satur­day morn­ing to speak with party mem­bers.

O’Leary’s web­site says he will be at the Coast Capri ho­tel, in ball­room A, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

The event is open only to mem­bers of the Con­ser­va­tive Party of Canada.

Along with O’Leary, whose pub­lic pro­file re­lates mainly to his ap­pear­ances on the Dragon’s Den TV show, 13 peo­ple are vy­ing to re­place Stephen Harper as party leader.

To be able to vote in the lead­er­ship cam­paign, peo­ple had to have re­newed or taken out a party mem­ber­ship by March 28. The lead­er­ship vote is May 27.
