Selling out to developers

The Daily Courier - - LETTERS -

Dear Editor: As was so eloquently explained in the Oct. 25 issue of The Daily Courier, the mayor continues to trash planning, zoning and regulations that have evolved from consultation between the community and previous administrations for decades.

Planning and zoning that up until recently has maintained the Kelowna lifestyle as one of the most desirable in Canada. Well, Mayor Colin Basran is now in a position where selling out to developers can bring personal rewards and any resident of Kelowna who voted for him, or didn’t even bother to vote, has but one person to blame and that is the person who stares back at you from your mirror.
