The Daily Observer - - NEWS -

Terry Picard of Petawawa is celebrating after winning $68,248.50 with POOLS, Football Pool Card #90 (List #1200). “After making my picks and purchasing my ticket, I went home to watch the games,” shared Picard, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “By the Sunday night, I realized that I had 12 of 13 picks correct and only needed one more win on Monday. I was so excited!” The retired draftsman watched the game on Monday night and when his team won, he immediately checked the prize amounts on OLG.ca.

“I was in shock. I thought I’d win about $3,000,” he laughed. While Picard’s wife has her sights set on a new kitchen, he wants to indulge in the experience of lifetime.

“I’m going to Vegas! I want to drive a Lamborghini or any other fancy car on the race track,” he smiled. POOLS is the sports game that’s easy to play. Each $5 wager allows you to pick your sport and card number and select who you think will win each matchup. Get the most correct picks and win or share the prize pool! The winning ticket was purchased at Pronto Retail Centre on Petawawa Boulevard.
