Melkior drilling update
Drilling continues at the “Behemoth Zone” at Melkior resources’ Carscallen Project, about 25 kilometres west of Timmins. recent tests have found surficial gold occurrence within the swampy area overlying the Behemoth Zone that assayed 9.5 g/ton gold.
So far, 16 holes at a depth of about 3,000 metres have been completed. in a Tuesday press release, the CEO of Melkior commented on the ongoing work.
“Visible gold within the Behemoth Zone is encouraging, however its significance needs to be established through assays. i anticipate a pause in drilling to allow us to assess the assay results,” said CEO Jim Deluce. Melkior has completed 33,000 metres in the past six years, revealing several high-grade gold zones.
