Melkior drilling up­date

Drilling con­tin­ues at the “Be­he­moth Zone” at Melkior re­sources’ Carscallen Project, about 25 kilo­me­tres west of Tim­mins. re­cent tests have found sur­fi­cial gold oc­cur­rence within the swampy area over­ly­ing the Be­he­moth Zone that as­sayed 9.5 g/ton gold.

So far, 16 holes at a depth of about 3,000 me­tres have been com­pleted. in a Tues­day press re­lease, the CEO of Melkior com­mented on the on­go­ing work.

“Vis­i­ble gold within the Be­he­moth Zone is en­cour­ag­ing, how­ever its sig­nif­i­cance needs to be es­tab­lished through as­says. i an­tic­i­pate a pause in drilling to al­low us to as­sess the as­say re­sults,” said CEO Jim Deluce. Melkior has com­pleted 33,000 me­tres in the past six years, re­veal­ing sev­eral high-grade gold zones.
