The Alzheimer So­ci­ety hosts a pub­lic ed­u­ca­tion lec­ture on Jan. 14 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Sim­coe Pub­lic Li­brary with Dr. J.B. Orange that will fo­cus on com­mu­ni­cat­ing with in­di­vid­u­als who have de­men­tia. It will ex­am­ine the com­plex­ity of hu­man com­mu­ni­ca­tion, the im­por­tance of com­mu­ni­ca­tion to care­givers, as well as strate­gies to en­hance com­mu­ni­ca­tion.
