Open­ing day at the Nor­folk County Fair

Delhi District Sec­ondary School won its ninth con­sec­u­tive Young Canada Day ti­tle at the Nor­folk County Fair and Horse Show in Sim­coe on Oct. 2.

It rained dur­ing Young Canada Day at the Nor­folk County Fair but the stu­dents crowded into the Lloyd S. Cul­ver grand­stand didn't let that get in the way of their good time. Among those cheer­ing their school­mates on to vic­tory were Madi Arm­strong and Chris Eve­lyn of Delhi District Sec­ondary School.

High school stu­dents from across Nor­folk con­verged on the Lloyd S. Cul­ver grand­stand at the Nor­folk County Fair for Young Canada Day on Tues­day, Oct. 2. Many of them sported bright school colours and wild out­fits and hair­dos. Among them were Grade 12 stu­dents Wil­liam Dearlove and Tay­lor De­more of Delhi District Sec­ondary School.

This group of Nor­wich par­ents en­joyed the Young Canada Day fes­tiv­i­ties at the grand­stand dur­ing the open­ing day of the Nor­folk County Fair Oct. 2. Their chil­dren at­tend Delhi District Sec­ondary School so the par­ents de­cided to hang out while the kids set­tled cheer­lead­ing, tug-of-war and road race brag­ging rights for an­other year.
