The Drumheller Mail - - CLASSIFIEDS -

The May meeting of the Drumheller Women’s Hospital Auxiliary was held on May 11 with eleven members present.

President Olga Rowse opened the meeting with the recitation of the Auxiliary Prayer. We congratulated Olga on her award of ‘ Citizen of the Year’.

Treasurer Carol McLean gave her report which was adopted as read.

Kay Vickers reported on articles for the baby cupboard which were as follows: hooded jacket with wool from Muriel Martin; Lyla Stone donated a baby sweater; Lorna Fullerton gave two hooded jackets. There are a number of jackets of different colours in the cupboard, along with some afghans. A motion was passed to reimburse the knitters for their expenses.

Pop machine sales were reported as good. Jane Dupuis mentioned that healthy choices such as juices were available there.

We decided to wait until we had more information from Bev Krabsen before purchasing any hospital equipment.

Adjournment lunch followed.
