On Tuesday, February 2, The St. Anthony’s Sabres hosted Airdrie Koinonia Christian School. Coach Joey Browning said, “The score was 47-30 for us. We struggled to score in the 2nd and 4th quarters but the kids came out focused and ready to begin the game. After we gained a 15 point lead, we were never really in danger of losing it. Their commitment on defense seems to be a big reason for our recent wins. Brayden Upton lead the way for us. He turned away at least a dozen shots and altered numerous more. He really put the fear in to Airdrie, when they had thoughts of taking a shot in the paint. He was big for us in the post, scoring at will and making every shot count, but the boys had great ball movement and played as a team once again. Now we will regroup and set our sights on our end of the year tournament coming up on February, 26.” Pictured in white: #1 Riley Gaudet
