Pam Col­lett is still look­ing for vol­un­teers to work at the Kinder­garten casino be­ing held on June 23 and 24. We have more shifts than fam­i­lies in the school so if you can help out it would be greatly ap­pre­ci­ated! At the Jan­uary 28, 2016 Coun­cil Meet­ing, Hussar Coun­cil passed By­law #502-16 Speed Limit By­law. This By­law sets the speed limit for Hussar at 40 km per hour ex­cept in play­ground/ school zones, back al­leys and the camp­ground. The speed limit in the play­ground/school zone is 30 km per hour and the speed limit in back al­leys and the camp­ground is 15 km per hour. This by­law came into full force and ef­fect as of Jan­uary 28, 2016 and new speed signs will be in­stalled as soon as pos­si­ble. County of Newell Peace Of­fi­cers will be pa­trolling Hussar as a pi­lot pro­ject this year and will be en­forc­ing this and other by­laws, as needed.

On the week­end Tonya Schempp, An­gela Treacy, Jes­sica Kaiser and Teneil Wruck trav­elled to Aberdeen, Saskatchewan to curl in a ladies bon­spiel. This is Teneil’s home­town so it was nice for her to get to see ev­ery­one back home. The girls won the “C” event while there, way to go girls!
