Po­lice in­ves­ti­gat­ing road sign dam­age in Star­land

On March 6, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Drumheller RCMP mem­bers re­sponded to a call of road signs be­ing dam­aged in the Star­land County area.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion re­vealed that some­one had driven over 21 road signs in the area of junc­tion 851 and 576 (north­east of Drumheller). 15 signs were driven over on High­way 851 and 6 were driven over along High­way 576. The es­ti­mated dam­age is more than $3000.00.

It is not known how many ve­hi­cles were in­volved in the mis­chief. Tracks at the scene sug­gest that one of the ve­hi­cles may have had dual wheels.
