Happy First Day of Spring (Sun­day, March 20)! Guess it is of­fi­cially here at last!

There were lep­rachauns ga­lore in Delia Satur­day night when the Drop In Cen­tre hosted their an­nual Ir­ish Stew sup­per. A good at­ten­dance of lo­cal din­ers and out of town vis­i­tors en­joyed the de­li­cious sup­per of Ir­ish stew with all the trim­mings and plenty of pie. The Drop In Cen­tre would like to thank ev­ery­one who came out to the sup­per, your sup­port of the Cen­tre is greatly ap­pre­ci­ated.

Delia is the busiest lit­tle vil­lage you will find, ev­ery month is filled with ac­tiv­i­ties and April ap­pears to be keep­ing up with that tra­di­tion.: Watch for posters from the His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety – they will be hold­ing a tea in cel­e­bra­tion of the Queen’s 90th Birth­day in April. Will the Queen make an ap­pear­ance? Watch and see.

Don’t for­get to get your tick­ets for an evening of fun and food at the Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, when Brent Butt comes to en­ter­tain on April 16. Delia School Dream Team Travel Group is host­ing a Hyp­no­tist Event on Satur­day, April 30, com­plete with a ham sup­per, silent auc­tion, dessert auc­tion, and door prizes. Tick­ets are avail­able from any Dream Team mem­ber or call the school at 403 364 3777 for in­for­ma­tion.

Make your way to the Delia Drop In Cen­tre on Thurs­day, March 31, for the monthly Crib Tour­na­ment al­ways held on the last Thurs­day of the month, be­gin­ning at 7 in the evening. Come and play any card game of your choice, come for fun, prizes and re­fresh­ments.
