Lit­tle bit of snow, lit­tle bit of sun, wind and it’s spring. Con­grat­u­la­tions to Re­gan Bur­field who was this week’s win­ner of the 300 Club Raf­fle draw which took place on March 19. Thanks for buy­ing a ticket.

Don’t for­get tonight, Wed­nes­day, March 23 is the Mor­rin Lions Easter Ham Bingo. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This Thurs­day, March 24 in the af­ter­noon at the Agriplex is the an­nual stu­dent teacher hockey game. Have fun ev­ery­one.

Next week, March 28 – April 1 is Easter break and no school for the stu­dents. It should be a good week to get the bi­cy­cles tuned up.

The Ver­dant Val­ley Agri­cul­tural So­ci­ety is fea­tur­ing a Hor­ti­cul­tural Work­shop on April 16 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the Ver­dant Val­ley Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Jim Hole, Al­berta’s Top Hor­ti­cul­tural Au­thor­ity is pre­sent­ing “Gar­den Myths” the day will also fea­ture Tim Schowal­ter a lo­cal Nat­u­ral His­tory Au­thor­ity. Jim Hole is a very good speaker and this will be a very spe­cial op­por­tu­nity.

There was a crew of vol­un­teers in at the new hall on Sun­day putting on the first coat of paint. It’s go­ing to look very nice when it’s all done.
