The Drumheller Mail - - NEWS - Emily Hollingshead

The library is looking for young writers between the ages of 11 and 14 (as of July 2016) to help us test our first ever Young Writers Workshop. If this is you, or someone you know, pick up an application form at the library or at school immediately – the deadline is April 15, only a couple of weeks away!

Participants will get some great writing tools; spend three days learning how to improve their writing; and take one project from an idea to a finished story. Not only that, but they’ll get to talk to au- thor Gail Carson Levine, who wrote Ella Enchanted, Fairest, and lots of other fantastic books!

The program is free, but we’re only accepting a few writers, so the earlier we receive an application, the better chance it has of being accepted. Don’t delay – apply today!

For more information on programs, events and services at the library, visit our website at www.drumhellerlibrary. ca, or call us at 403-823-1371. We’re also on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!
