I hope you all have recovered from all the chocolate goodies that were given over the Easter weekend. That rabbit must have been busy!
The Borwick families were at Donna’s for Easter dinner which included Chris, Kare and Jack from Calgary; Debbie and Cal from Hand Hills; Mike and Judy from Orkney; and Ria and Sarah from Red Deer. Lots of chatting and laughs I’m sure. Donna had a nice surprise about two weeks ago when the door opened and in came son Jordan from Kelowna. She had no idea he was even in the area. Those are special surprises.
The Bell’s had Nathan and Kirsti home for the weekend and all were at Gleichen on the Sunday at Kathy’s brother’s home Don Wahl’s. A short but fun time having the kids home.
The Mueller household was overflowing on the weekend with Tatum home from Saskatoon, Zack from Edmonton, Taylor and Wes from Morrin and also Shari’s family on the Sunday for Easter Dinner. That would be a noisy and fun time!
Over the weekend I had granddaughter Roberta Keichirger from Lethbridge here from Saturday to Monday morning. Saturday night we were at Rick and Sandy’s in Beiseker and saw Matt and Jayden from Martinsville, SK and Meaghan, Brayden, Jack and Cooper as well. Chad, Catherin and Cassie from Weyburn, SK were here from Monday to Tuesday so more cards and fun! I love having grandkids and great-grandkids here. I’m expecting more family during the coming week so more visiting, card games and fun, they are coming from Edmonton.
I think that Spring is really here as on Monday morning there were four robins in the tree by the back door. My mother always said Spring didn’t arrive until she heard meadowlarks, saw robins and bluebirds. Meadowlarks and bluebirds I haven’t seen for years.
A reminder to all you gardeners about the workshop at the Verdant Valley Community Centre April 16 presenting Jim Hole, a noted horticulturist from Edmonton. There is more detailed information from Pat 403321-0210 or from Toni 403-321-0061.
Have a good week and pass on your smiles...it makes someone’s day.
