Congratulations to the Rockyford U19 Ringers and to the Open C Ringers on winning the 2016 Provincial gold medals at their Provincials last weekend. The U19 team was up in Spruce Grove and the Open team hosted here in Rockyford. Congratulations to the Rockyford Rush Open C team who earned the bronze medal. Way to go Rockyford on such a great season!

St. Rita’s Parish will be offering First Communion Classes to all eligible children, grades 1, 2 and 3 or anyone who has not already received the sacrament. Please contact either Tracy Rehlau or Larry Kathol by Wednesday, April 13 if you are interested.
The Rosebud Choir will host a fundraising Concert in St. Rita’s Church on Sunday, April 24, at 3:00 PM. This fundraiser Is for the support of a Syrian Family living in Strath- more, they are being sponsored by the Hope Covenant Church. There will be a freewill offering and tax receipts will be made available.
Badlands Search and Rescue is registered NFP working under Search and Rescue Alberta providing SAR capabilities throughout Wheatland, Kneehill, Starland and other areas as well. They have members in Three Hills, Hanna, Drumheller, Rockyford and Strathmore. On Saturday, April 23 they will be holding a Recruiting Session at the Strathmore Town Firehall from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. They are looking for a wide range in volunteers including those who are interested in conducting search and rescue operations in rural, urban or wilderness settings as well as those who are interested in Fundraising, Social Media, Recruitment, etc.
The Knights of Columbus “Las Vegas Night” will take place this Saturday evening (April 9) starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Community Center.
