Local realtor named president of South Central Real Estate Board
A local realtor with years of governance experience has been named president of the local area Real Estate Board.
Karen Bertamini of Century 21 Power Realty was named president of the Realtors Association of South Central Alberta (RASCA). This board represents 60-70 Realtors in Drumheller, Hanna, Brooks and area. She has been a member of the board for a number of years.
“I always like to be involved,” said Bertamini. “I’m just taking my turn. This provides governance for realtors in South Central Alberta.”
RASCA is one of 10 local boards that make up Alberta Real Estate Boards (AREA). This organization provides advocacy, professional development as well as standardized real estate forms for the province.
RASCA maintains the integrity of the real estate MLS data on Realtor.ca website and smartphone app. The real estate board also tracks the market trends, year over year sales numbers, and market value in- creases and decreases.
Karen Bertamini works with the Team at Century 21 in Drumheller.
“Karen was on the Town of Drumheller town council for over 20 years and so her experience with development, policy, board governance and government relations will be an asset for the RASCA members, “says Century 21 PowerRealty.ca broker Bob Sheddy.
