Although it’s chilly I must say the rain is welcome. Congratulations to Karen Gough, this week’s winner of the 300 Club Raffle draw which took place on April 23. Thanks for buying a ticket.

The Morrin 4H Multi Club Achievement night is April 27 at the Morrin Hall starting at 6:30. This year’s projects include Equine, Small Engines, Photography, Canine, Sewing, Band and Creative Options. There were a group of Cleavers which are 6-8 year olds who also participated in the 4H year. In total there were 26 members and 10 Cleavers. Achievement Night is always a fun night to see the projects that the members worked so hard on throughout the year.

This weekend is the Morrin School Annual Alumni Volleyball tournament. If you are interested in putting in a team please contact Amy Adams at 403-436-0096 or Katie Primrose at 403-820-1652. You are required to have at least 3 people who are Morrin School alumni on the team and you have to have two girls on the court at all times. There will be a concession and a draw will be made up as soon as there are enough teams registered.

Condolences of the community go to Jean McGhee, Eileen Persinger, Lloyd Coad and families on the passing of their sister Barbara Cuncannon of Calgary. Barbara passed away on April 19 and a service was held in Calgary on April 22. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families.

Senior High Badminton is wrapping up this weekend with Zones in Three Hills on Saturday.

Parent Teacher interviews will take place Thursday, April 28.

Remember that your words can strike a heavy blow keep them kind.

Have a great week.
