Softball takes a swing at up­com­ing sea­son

The Drumheller Girls Softball As­so­ci­a­tion’s Pure Venom teams are en­joy­ing the start to their sea­son.

“Ev­ery­thing is up and run­ning smooth this year. We are hop­ing the nice weather lasts for the girls,” says Bai­ley Faubion of Pure Venom.

The Drumheller Girls Softball As­so­ci­a­tion has teams run­ning from U8 to U16.

Girls from Drumheller, as well as sur­round­ing commu- ni­ties such as Mor­rin travel to play with the team.

The U16 Comets are just com­ing off of a dou­ble header win against Syl­van Lake on Sun­day, May 8.

“We are grate­ful and ap­pre­cia­tive for all the busi­nesses and peo­ple who spon­sor us, even in these down times right now.“

The Girls Softball As­so­ci­a­tion can be found on Saturday, May 28, down­town Drumheller serv­ing out burg­ers to the pub­lic dur­ing the Boo­gie in the Bad­lands car show.
