All schools are sell­ing Sim­ple Si­mon pies/meals/soup to raise money for Wheat­land Cross­ing. This is for all kids to have a new shirt for the first day of school. If you’re in­ter­ested, ple ase find as chool kid!! Thanks for all of this com­mu­nity’s sup­port.

Mark your cal­en­dars! “There’s a Mon­ster in My Closet” de buts on Ma y 18 and 19 at 6:30 pm at the Stan­dard Comm unity Hall. Do you have a mon­ster in your closet: Well the el­e­men­tary stu­dents sure do! Come s ee all the scary crea­tures at the Ann ual El­e­men­tary mu­si­cal! Nazareth Lutheran Church in­vites you to its an­nual church pic­nic, Bike-a-thon and GeoCache on June 12 be­gin­ning with wor­ship a t 10:30. The kids from the Cam­per­ship Pro­gram, as part of the pr ogram, are re­quired to par­tic­i­pate in the Bike-a- thon and raise pledges. Be on the look­out for a happy camper look­ing for your pledges! Help us send kids to camp! Last year we sent 25 de­serv­ing kids to camp, and we are send­ing 23 more this year!

The NLC yout h’s next fundraiser will be a mega garage sale to be held on Sports Day at the church. They are seek­ing dona tions of it ems to sell. Items can be dropped off at the manse next to the church (1002 1st street west) or please call Pas­tor Dyanna (403644-3998) if you would like them picked up.
