Delia is very quiet this week, not a soul on the street, –guess ev­ery­one is out en­joy­ing the Hand­hills Stam­pede! They are cer­tainly hav­ing a per­fect week­end for it!

The Birth­day Party sched­uled at the Drop In Cen­tre for June 8, as well as the Board meet­ing sched­uled for the 9th of June, have both been can­celled due to con­flict­ing sched­ules. The Pot Luck lunch on Thurs­day, June 16, at 12 noon will still take place, so come to the Drop In for pot luck at noon on Thurs­day, June 16.

The Elks Pan­cake Breakfast is from 9 to noon on Sun­day, June 12 at the Delia Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.

On Satur­day, June 11 an Equine Health and Emer­gency First Aid one day Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. un­til 4:30 p.m at Bill Sanger and Judy Eliot’s acreage. Lunch pro­vided. This is a hands on course brought to you by J Bar Equine Ser­vices and Equine Health Canada, with cer­ti­fied EHC in­struc­tors.

The Delia Elks Bingo is ev­ery Tues­day night at the Delia Com­mu­nity Cen­tre. Some big jack­pots have been won, The latest winner of the Last Chance Bonanza was Joyce Jor­gen­son of Hanna. Tom De­va­le­ri­ola and Dar­ren Meyer of the Delia Elks pre­sented Joyce with her win­ning cheque at Bingo on Tues­day night. Tom and Dar­ren also pre­sented Elsie Lim­pert with a Cheque for $500. for the Elks Walk for Chil­dren.
