The Friendship Center’s next “Soup Day” will be Wednesday, June 8 starting at noon.

Register your child (ages 7+) at the Rockyford Library for Drama Camp 2016 at the Rockyford Community Centre this summer. Instructors from Calgary Young People’s Theatre (CYPT) will lead participants through various games and activities to develop their skills in acting, improvisation and stage combat, Monday through Friday ( July 11 through 15) from 10 until 3 each day. They will also develop their own play, to be performed Friday, July 15, at 3:00 p.m. This program is not just for drama fans. The objective is to provide a safe and creative space for young people to freely express themselves and their ideas, to foster a stronger sense of community and a greater passion and appreciation for the arts. Please contact the library for more information and/or to register. The Rockyford Library is open Tuesdays (noon to 6:00 p.m.) and Wednesdays/Thursdays (2:00 to 8:00 p.m.).
