Po­lice fol­low­ing leads in Hanna Round­house break-in

The So­ci­ety, which owns and looks af­ter the his­toric round­house posted a num­ber of photos on its Face­book site hop­ing that some­one would be able to iden­tify those pos­si­bly in­volved.

Since then the po­lice have made progress in the in­ves­ti­ga­tion to iden­tify the five peo­ple pic­tured in the sur­veil­lance footage. Cor­po­ral Kevin Charles ex­plains they have some sus­pects they are talk­ing to, and the hope to re­solve the case sooner rather than later.

The Round­house So­ci­ety has since posted on its Face­book page that there is a war­rant to ar­rest three of the five peo­ple al­leged to have bro­ken into the his­toric re­source. Ac­cord­ing to its posts, this is the fourth break in to the Round­house since Au­gust of 2015 and the first this year.

Cor­po­ral Charles says the in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.

Hanna RCMP have made progress in its in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the break in at the Hanna Round­house on June 13.
