The Canadian Bad­lands Pas­sion Play re­ceived a hum­ble gift from an­other Drumheller based com­pany.

Sun­rise Auto Sales has do­nated a 1999 Ford F- 250 after The Pas­sion Play was hav­ing trou­ble with their old 1977 truck.

Ex­ec­u­tive Direc­tor of the Pas­sion Play, Vance Neu­dorf, com­ments on how needed the truck was.

“When it comes to ve­hi­cles, this is a great need as we have al­most 40 staff mem­bers at this time of year who are con­tin­u­ally run­ning into town to pick up sup­plies.”

The truck will be the new­est ve­hi­cle added to the fleet used by Pas­sion Play mem­bers.

“The crew was over­joyed for this is the first newer truck we have ever had in our pos­ses­sion and we are us­ing it con­stantly.”

spoke with owner of Sun­rise Auto Sales, John Schin­nour, about the do­na­tion.

“We heard they were in need of a ve­hi­cle and the Pas­sion Play is such a great at­trac­tion to the Val­ley. We just re­ally wanted to help them out.”

All do­na­tions made to the Canadian Bad­lands Pas­sion Play re­ceive a tax re­ceipt for the ap­praised value of the item.
