Also at the meet­ing, the pub­lisher from the Eastern Cen­tral Al­berta Re­view paper had a voice and, dur­ing her pre­sen­ta­tion, she made some rec­om­men­da­tions and en­cour­aged the coun­cil’s con­tin­ued trans­parency to vil­lage res­i­dents. She also sug­gested that some in­ac­cu­ra­cies that have been printed about Mor­rin in her paper might be cor­rected.

All in all it was an­other very rou­tine meet­ing and hats off to our coun­cil­lors for hang­ing in there, and for do­ing a good, fair (and quite frankly thank­less) job, to take care of the on­go­ing te­dious busi­ness that makes the debt-free vil­lage of Mor­rin run as smoothly as it does.

And, lastly, neigh­bour Eleanor Bre­mer cel­e­brated a big birth­day this past week. I could tell you but you had bet­ter check with her on the num­ber. So, that’s it...that is all I have...carry on! Cheers!
