Also at the meeting, the publisher from the Eastern Central Alberta Review paper had a voice and, during her presentation, she made some recommendations and encouraged the council’s continued transparency to village residents. She also suggested that some inaccuracies that have been printed about Morrin in her paper might be corrected.
All in all it was another very routine meeting and hats off to our councillors for hanging in there, and for doing a good, fair (and quite frankly thankless) job, to take care of the ongoing tedious business that makes the debt-free village of Morrin run as smoothly as it does.
And, lastly, neighbour Eleanor Bremer celebrated a big birthday this past week. I could tell you but you had better check with her on the number. So, that’s it...that is all I have...carry on! Cheers!
