Ok who let the mosquitos out? Put them back! We saw the strangest thing on Sunday night on our way home. We were driving on the highway and to the north towards the Morrin corner we could see a dark column above the high way. It almost looked like a funnel cloud but not quite right. As we drive further north we start to realize it this huge clusters of mosquitoes above the highway and I mean huge, enough that it made a dark cloud all the way to the Morrin corner. YUK! Wear your bug spray or stay indoors during the early morning and evening hours. I feel sorry for the animals that have to be out in those bugs.
I hope you enjoyed your long weekend even with the bugs.
This past Saturday, July 30, Munson 300 Raffle Draw lucky winner was James Schow. That’s two times lucky for James. He won back in March too. He might have to buy his mom supper for buying him a ticket. Congratulations James.

We had the opportunity to see the band Alabama in concert on July 30 in Medicine Hat. Now Alabama has been around a long time and we saw them about 32 years ago in Calgary. I have to say they’ve still got it. It was a great concert at a nice venue and they sounded just as good as they did 32 years ago.
Now we can look forward to seeing Blue Rodeo in concert this weekend at the Drumheller Passion Play site. I think it’s a great idea to be using the site to bring in entertainment.
Have a good week and keep the mosquitos at bay.
