On Wednesday, August 3, 20 members of the Drop In Centre, and friends, attended the Rosebud Theatres’ matinee production of “Tent Meeting.” It featured gospel singing with a good story line, as well as several comic moments. The actors played several parts, each very convincingly. Everyone enjoyed the show immensely, thanks to the organizers and the drivers who car pooled. This was a production well worth seeing.

We continue to wish Lisa Skaaning a complete and speedy recovery from her unfortunate accident in Delia. Lisa will soon be home from the hospital but will have to cope with her left arm immobilized in a cast. Lisa is left handed so this will be a real challenge. This would be a difficult situation even for someone living in a family environment with family members to provide care. For a single person living alone it is devastating.
