This past Sunday, the Alex Bergos family had a birthday dinner at the house to celebrate Alex’s 90th big day with burgers, cake and ice cream. Sounds like a fun time.
On the long weekend Eileen Heron and Donna Wilton were at Chris and Karen’s west of Caroline for lots of visiting and getting caught up on the goings on with the family. Donna was ending her holiday in B.C. visiting family and friends.
I hope the weather forcasts continue to be wrong as we haven’t received the rain showers that were called for. We’ve had enough rain for quite some time as the farmers need sunshine and dry days to get the crops turning although some are starting to turn now but so many fields are flat or damaged by high winds and rain. Some look like a cyclone went through as they are tangled so badly. Makes for tough harvesting.
