Drumheller Dragons welcome Leonidas

The Drumheller Dragons have added yet an­other player to their 2016-2017 ros­ter. Alexan­der Leonidas is a 5’11, 180 lb, 18 year old de­fense­man from Calgary.

Coach Brian Cur­ran of the Drumheller Dragons is among the many who are ex­cited for his ar­rival.

“Alexan­der is a very gifted skater and has very strong of­fen­sive skills. His seam­less tran­si­tion from de­fense to of­fense is one of the rea­sons we pur­sued him for our team this year,” says Coach Cur­ran.

Leonidas boasts a to­tal of 8 goals and 10 as­sists in 33 games for the Calgary Midget AAA Roy­als last year. He is ex­cited to play for the Drumheller Dragons this sea­son.

“I am re­ally ex­cited to commit to the Drumheller Dragons for this up­com­ing sea­son. They have a well-es­tab­lished pro­gram that has a strong com­mit­ment to their player de­vel­op­ment and win­ning, as well as get­ting play­ers to the next level.
